Dental Implants

A Dental Implant is a small titanium screw that is placed within the jaw bone to replace teeth already missing or are in need of replacement. An implant acts like the root of your natural tooth or teeth.

If you have only one tooth missing then one tooth implant will fill the cap but if you have multiple teeth missing then we can make you an implant bridge that can be held in place by one or more dental implants. Implants are ideal for teeth missing in the upper jaw because when your teeth are missing, your jaw bone does not have the support from the teeth roots.

When the jaw bone does not have that support, your body starts to absorb the bone tissue and as a result, your upper jaw can become very thin, which increases the risk of a sinus cavity collapse. An example of this is when you see people take out their false teeth and their mouth looks like it is being pulled in. This collapse does not occur because of the gums being without the teeth but because of the jaw bone deformation. Dental implants will give the jaw bone the support it needs.

The dental implant cost may depend on the brands we offer and your budget. You have to wait at least 4 months after the insertion of the implant for it to integrate with the jaw bone. This means you have to come back for a second visit to have your crowns inserted.
