If you have one or more missing teeth, a dental bridge could be for you.
You can choose from a few different options to close a gap where a single tooth or a number of teeth are missing. One of the best and quickest ways to fill a gap is by having a dental bridge done. As the name suggests, a dental bridge is a bridge of teeth that are anchored to the healthy teeth adjacent to the gap. Unlike normal dentures a dental bridge is a permanent fixture. As a general rule, it is better to have a single implant implemented if you have only one tooth missing. If you have two -or more- teeth missing next to each other and you do not want to have a double implant then you will need a 4-tooth dental bridge. So the rule of thumb is what ever the number of missing teeth in the gap, a tooth has to be added to the either end of the gap of the bridge on to your natural teeth.
A dental bridge is a fixed feature and will function just like your natural teeth. You will not have any problems with eating or speaking. The materials we use are Porcelain Fused Metal (PFM) Crowns or Zirconia Porcelain Crowns. Our laboratories use only the best materials.
